Jared's Lore
Jared is an immortal being who transferred his soul into a rabbit-shaped doll. He is referred to in Michi's lore as "The Rabbit," "The Rabbit Doll," and "The Creator."
After Michi died and became a ghost, Jared was responsible for her resurrection. He created a new body for her using different body parts stitched together to form a single human body and brought her back to life.
Jared accompanies Michi everywhere and the two run their store together. While Michi interacts with customers due to her human appearance, Jared is described as the brains behind the operation. Although he does not speak, he and Michi have their own unique way of communicating.
According to the lore, Michi credits Jared as the one responsible for giving her a second chance at life, and the two live and work together as partners.
Behind the Scenes
According to stories shared by Michi and members of her community, Jared was created during the early design phase of Michi's character. Community discussions and comments from those involved in her development suggest that Jared's design originated from a particularly "zooted" brainstorming session, resulting in the unique rabbit mascot fans know today.
